Outcomes Measures
The agency tracks successful treatment completion rates for its Residential Treatment Programs, as well as its Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Non-Intensive Outpatient Treatment (NIOP) programs. The agency tracks discharge outcomes specifically for those clients whose treatment is covered by ADAMHSCC Board funding.
Results
76% of men’s residential discharges whose treatment was ADAMHSCC funded were successful;
56% of women’s residential discharges whose treatment was ADAMHSCC funded were successful; staff are gathering information such as age, race, drug(s) of addiction, point of departure from treatment to determine the reasons for lower residential treatment completion among female ADAMHSCC funded clients.
62% of IOP discharges whose treatment was ADAMHSCC funded were successful. At discharge from IOP, all reported maintaining sobriety, having positive relationships, having stable living arrangements and experiencing improved heath. All had developed relapse prevention plans prior to their discharge from treatment.
73% of Non-Intensive OP treatment discharges whose treatment was ADAMHSCC funded were successful; all discharged NIOP consumers maintained sobriety at discharge, had positive supportive relationships, practiced relapse prevention skills and had stable, sober housing.
81% of the former clients reached by the agency post-discharge reported they were maintaining sobriety, had stable and sober housing and relationships.
The agency notes that successful treatment completion rates for all of its programs are above national expectations (60% for residential and 50% for outpatient).
