TOURNAMENT RULES:

1) GHSA rules will be used except as noted below.

2) All teams play 2 pool play games on Friday and a 3rd pool play game on Saturday morning. Using results, teams will be placed in either DIAMOND, PLATINUM, GOLD, SILVER, or BRONZE Medal Rounds on Saturday afternoon. Each Medal Round will be assigned their own field location.

3) Standings in pool play on Fri/Sat morning will be determined by:


There will be 4 medal brackets: Diamond, Gold, and Silver & Bronze. Teams in each Pool (A, B, C, & D) will be seeded 1-4 and all teams will be given the designation of their Pool letter and their seed (ex. A2, D4, etc.). All 1 seeds (A1, B1, etc.) will play in the Diamond bracket; all 2 seeds will play in the Gold bracket and so forth.


  1. Game time for pool play will be 80 minutes. No new inning will begin after 80 minutes unless there is a tie. After 80 minutes, the International Tie-Breaker Rule will be implemented. Games may end in a tie. You will be allowed to complete the inning.

  2. For the Medal Rounds, game time limit will be 90 minutes. No new inning will begin after 90 minutes unless there is a tie. After 90 minutes, the International Tie-Breaker Rule will be implemented. Games in Medal Round play must play until a winner can be determined.

  3. ALL CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES WILL BE PLAYED IN FULL. THERE WILL NOT BE A TIME LIMIT. Trophies will be awarded to the winning team of each Medal Round.

OTHER NOTES:

Directions to Grayson HS and Bay Creek Park are enclosed.

Each team will supply a new ball for each game.

DIRECTIONS


GRAYSON HIGH SCHOOL AND BAY CREEK PARK (using 85)
From 85 N
Travel north on 85 and exit onto HWY 316 (towards Athens).

Exit Sugarloaf Pkwy—Turn Right

Travel on Sugarloaf until it dead ends into Hwy 20 (Grayson Hwy

or it is also called Loganville Hwy)—Turn Right


*(FOR BAY CREEK) Travel on Hwy 20 until you reach Ozora Road—Turn Left. Travel a couple of miles down Ozora Rd and Bay Creek Park will be on your right. Softball fields are in the back of the complex.
*(FOR GRAYSON HS) Travel on Hwy 20 until you reach Hope Hollow Road—Turn Right

School is on your left. As you turn in, travel until the road dead ends at the Baseball and Softball complex.

Exit 285 onto HWY 78 (towards Stone Mountain)

Travel on Hwy 78 through Snellville.

After traveling through Snellville, turn left onto Hwy. 84 (Grayson

Pkwy).


Travel down Hwy. 84 until you reach Hwy. 20 (Grayson Hwy or it

is also called Loganville Hwy)

Turn right onto Hwy 20 and travel to Hope Hollow Road—Turn

Right.


School is on your left. As you turn in, travel until the road dead

ends at the Baseball and Softball complex.


BAY CREEK PARK
Same directions as above to get to Hwy 20.

Travel on Hwy 20 until you reach Ozora Road—Turn Left.

Travel a couple of miles down Ozora Rd and Bay Creek

Park will be on your right. Softball fields are in the back of the complex.
