NZQA National Qualifications Services has extended the expiry date for unit standards 1272 and 2977.

Summary
The change was made in response to concerns from stakeholders regarding the expiry date for standards 1272 and 2977. The change was made to ensure that no candidates enrolled in qualifications would be disadvantaged by the expiry of these standards, and to allow qualification developers sufficient time to update their qualifications and/or courses.
Main changes
The expiry date for standards 1272 and 2977 has been extended to December 2013.
