AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PARKING OF VEHICLES ON CITY STREETS AT SPECIFIC TIMES.
The City Council of the City of Bird Island ordains;
SECTION I. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation owning, operating or controlling any vehicle within the City of Bird Island to park or to allow such vehicle to be parked or stand upon the streets specified below between the hours of 2:00 A.M. and 6:00 A.M.:
a. Main Street from the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad track south to Birch Avenue.
b. Highway Avenue between Sixth Street and Eighth Street.
c. Ash Avenue between Sixth Street and Eighth Street.
SECTION II. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation owning, operating or controlling any vehicle within the City of Bird Island to park or to allow to be parked or standing unattended any vehicle upon any public street in the city for a period of more than 72 hours.
SECTION III. PENALTY
Any person violating any provision of this ordinance is guilty of a misdemeanor.
SECTION IV. REPEAL
Ordinance #141 and all other provisions of Ordinances inconsistent with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION V. EFFECTIVE DATE
This ordinance becomes effective upon its passage and publication according to law.
